- Subsets
- When two sets A and B are such that every element of A is an element of B, A is said to be a subset of B Every set is a subset of itself- the null set is a subset of every set Cardinality: There are 2^n subsets of a n-member set
- Union
- The set that contains all elements of two sets (DON'T DOUBLE LIST)
- Element
- each entry in a set
- Intersection
- elements that are in common between sets
- Roster
- A way of describing a set by listing its members
- set
- collection of well-defined objects called elements or members
- Venn Diagram
- Venn Diagram A picture with circles and rectangles that represents the relationship between/among sets

- A way of describing a set by describing what it takes to be a member or the set

- Sets are equal if they have the same elements
