- cranium
- The portion of the skull that encloses the brain.
- detection
- The act or process of identifying or discovering something.

- The use of electrical brain implants to reduce excessive activity in the brain and combat clinical depression.

- An electonic device that is capable of receiving signals from, as well as transmitting them to, neurons.

- A device for computing that is capable of performing rapid, complex calculations and data management.

- The portion fo the central nervous system located within the cranium that regulates and controls various bodily activities and serves as a primary site of consciousness, emotions, and memory.

- A person born in the United States during the great increase in birthrate in the years after WW II.

- The science of designing instruments or systems modeled after living organisms.

- A rhythmic fluctuation of electrical energy between different parts of the brain.

- Rights guaranteed to all individuals by law or judicial interpretation.
- Alzheimer's Disease
- A disease that results in the progressive loss of an individual's memory and mental capacity
- brain-computer interface
- An advanced machine that receives signals from the brain and converts them into a device control that adheres to the intentions of the user's brain activity, such as turning on a television set using one's thoughts.
- Amputee
- A person who has had a limb or limbs cut off, especially by surgery.

- Conforming to moral standards.

- The condition of being unable to see.
- elderly
- In the later years of one's life; older people considered together as a group.

- Computer equipment, including all physical components of a computer.
