- Action Research
- the use of open ended questions, portfolios, demonstration or a skills for example.
- Alternative Assessment
- to examine methodically by separating into parts and studying their interrelations
- Analyze
- research aimed at answering questions that have practical applications (determining the causes of diseases so that cures might be found)
- Applied Science
- asking for the behavior the learning is intended to produce. The gathering of evidence that students can use knowledge effectively and be able to critique their own effort.
- Authentic Assessment
- Student performance standards. An actual measurement of performance against an established standard at defined points along the path toward the standard.
