- Contour line-
- a line that follows the edge of the form, or travels across the form, without shading or modeling the form
- Convention-
- the use of a common visual language, application of standard rules of drawing for a specific purpose
- Design drawing-
- any drawing made to aid the visualization, exploration and evaluation of a concept; a drawing made during the design process
- Divider-
- a mechanical drawing instrument used for dividing spaces into equal units, handy for making quick accurate repeated measurements
- Drafting-
- drawing with the aid of instruments, usually to scale indicating dimensional specs.
- Elements-
- the components that make up a drawing, or design
- Entourage-
- contextual elements such as people, cars, furniture, plants and landscape features
- Eye level-
- in perspective drawing the eye level is the same level as the horizontal line
- Fenestration-
- an architectural opening, the design of a door, or a window
- Form-
- the shape of an object indicating mass
