= I*E I is the amount of current flowing through N turns of wire. Measured in Ampere-turns (A.t)
Magnetomotive Force(mmf)
is a measure of the ability to concentrate magnetic fields. This drops drastically at saturation.
(B = u * H or u = B/H)
Permeability (u)-
used to show how much flux density (B) resultsfrom increasing the amount of field intensity (H)
B-H magnetic curve -
The effect of little change in field intensity increases.
Saturation-
when flux lags the increase or decreases in magnetic force.
Hysteresis
= mmf/flux
opposition to the production of flux in a material, it is comparable to resistance. It is inveresly proportional to preameability. R= 1/P
Reluctance(R)-
demagnatizing using an alternating current.
Degausing
its equal to mmf/Length. Shorter magnetic circuits produce a greater field intensity.
Field Intensity (H)-
is comparable with conductance in a n electrical circuit, and is the inverse of reluctance. P= 1/R
Permeance(P)
Current = Voltage/Resistance Flux = Magnetomotive Force /Reluctance
