- Large places that are often divided into smaller areas.
- Regions
- Something found in nature; such as weather, plant life, land, and water.
- Physical Feature
- The buildings, bridges, or roads that people have made for a place.
- Human-Made Feature
- The plants that grow in a region
- Vegetation
- A community that is in the city.

Urban
Examples: Baton Rouge, New Orleans - A community that is just outside or close to a city.

Suburb
Examples: Denham Springs is a suburb of Baton Rouge - A setting or community that has to do with the country. It is not a city or near a city. Usually it has large open land.

Rural
Example: Watson was once a rural community. - a part that forms the outside edge of something
