- Floppy disk system problems
- 201
- Memory test failed. One or more portions of RAM were founded to be bad. Any numbers following this error code may indicate which RAM chip is bad. See the computer's documentation for information on interpreting those codes.

- Floppy disk error. Either the floppy adapter or the floppy drive failed. Check to see that the floppy cable isn't on upside down and that the power to the floppy drive(s) is hooked up correctly.

- Any number starting with 2 ususally indicate a memory-related problem.
- 1780
- Drive 0(C:) drive failure. The C: drive or controller isn't functioning. The disk might not be configured or the adapter isn't installed correctly.
- 301
- Keyboard error. Usually means a missing or malfunctioning keyboard or a key has been pressed too long during startup.
- 1781
- Drive 1(D:) drive failure. The D: drive or controller isn't functioning. The disk might not be configured or the adapter isn't installed correctly.
- 17*
- Hard disk problems. The hard disk geometry might not be set correctly or the disk adapter can't communicate with the hard disk.

- Any number starting with 1 usually indicates a system board problem.
- 164
- Memory size error. May happen after memory has been added. Running the BIOS setup program will allow the system to recognize the memory and the error should go away.
- 3**
- Any number starting with 3 usually indicates a problem with the keyboard. Problems include a missing or malfunctioning keyboard, as well as stuck keys.

- CMOS batter failure.
