- area in which a plant or animal grows or lives

- process of clearing forests of trees, usually to make room for farms and homes

- a resource that can be replaced

- one of the several nonrenewable resources created from the remains of plants and animals

- resources that must be altered before they can be used

- to reuse materials to make new products
