Enthalpy
A thermodynamic function of a system, equivalent to the sum of the internal energy of the system plus the product of its volume multiplied by the pressure exerted on it by its surroundings.
Bituminous

1.Having or producing sound.
2.Having or producing a full, deep, or rich sound.
Paregoric
A camphorated tincture of opium, taken internally for the relief of diarrhea and intestinal pain.
Confound

2.To fail to distinguish; mix up: confound fiction and fact.
Stifling
1.Very hot or stuffy almost to the point of being suffocating.
2.Being of such a character or nature as to engender a feeling of stultification, repression, or suffocation: “The scholarly correctness of our age can be stifling” (Annalyn Swan).

Intellectual, moral, or spiritual improvement; enlightenment.
Duress
Constraint by threat; coercion: confessed under duress.
Dissemble
To disguise or conceal behind a false appearance.
Gantry
Aerospace. A massive vertical frame structure used in assembling or servicing a rocket, especially at a launch site.
Surreptitiously
Obtained, done, or made by clandestine or stealthy means.
Calisthenic
Gymnastic exercises designed to develop muscular tone and promote physical well-being: Sit-ups, trunk twists, and other calisthenics are demonstrated on the videotape.
Succinct
Characterized by clear, precise expression in few words; concise and terse: a succinct reply; a succinct style.
Pinafore
A sleeveless garment similar to an apron, worn especially by small girls as a dress or an overdress.
Demure
Modest and reserved in manner or behavior.
