- Postural Defects (intrinsic)
- A bad posture can increase the risk factor becasue of inaccurate techniques being perfromed.
- Equiptment, Clothing and Footwear. (extrinsic)
- Can be Very Dangerous unless used in an approiate manor, or is practical for the type of sport.
- Poor Technique (intrinsic)
- A technique that you have taught yourself can be incorrect and could have harmful results
- Poor preparation. (intrinsic)
- This can consist of three factors, Mental, physical and acclimatistation.
- Age (intrinsic)
- This is an intrinsic factor thats effects can not be altered in any way or stopped.
- Inappropriate Coaching/instruction (extrinsic)
- The technical instruction can be Inadequate this can vary from technique, tactics or personal preparation.
- Muscle Imbalance (intrinsic)
- Is when Symmetrical Muscles are stronger or weaker than each other.
- Overuse (intrinsic)
- By using a muscle group to much can cause harm.
- Incorrect Technique (extrinsic)
- Performing a certain move which may be incorrect or harmful to you in which you have takening from an external source
- Environment conditions (extrinsic)
- The external forces play against your which effect the playing venue which you have no control over.
- Other Sports Players (extrinsic)
- You are susceptible to risk because of an other competitor.
- Inadequate Warm-up (intrinsic)
- A bad warm up is acknowledged in increasing risk.
